We decided to move the registration deadline backward a little bit. The final deadline will be July 15th.

Don’t forget to pay off your participation fee within the period.

If not, extra fee will be charged if the payment is made later than July 15th.(extra fee(USD 20) added to pre-registration fee).

We have eventually opened ‘IFSS2010 official website on March 1st!

You can apply for your registration In ‘Program’ section on this website, During 3.15~6.30

After successfully sending your registration form to us, we will send our invitation letter. When you get our invitation, you have to remit your participation fee to our bank account. Afterwards, we will notify you when the remittance comes in.

국제산림대학생심포지엄(IFSS)에서 여러분의 참여를 기다립니다.

IFSS(잎스)는 국제산림대학생연합인 IFSA(International Forestry Students’ Association)에서 주관하는 국제심포지엄입니다.

IFSA(잎사)는 전세계 산림관련 전공 대학(원)생들의 상호 교류와 이해를 통하여 건전하고 진실한 우의를 다지는 것을 기초로 하여 문화 교류와 산림과학 분야의 학문적 교류, 아울러 국제적인 자연환경의 보호 및 보존에 대해 서로 토론하고 해결책을 제시하고자 하는 국제학생 단체입니다.

IFSS는 임학을 공부하는 학생들에게 다른 나라 회원들과 만날 수 있는 장을 제공하여, 생각과 견해를 나누고 결속의 분위기를 창출하며 서로를 고무시키기 위해 시작되었습니다. 1년에 한 번 세계 각국의 회원들이 한자리에 모여 안건회의와 주제토의의 시간을 갖습니다. 매년 약 30여개의 국가에서 130명의 회원들이 참석합니다.

2008년 제36회 불가리아 IFSS에서 한국이 제38회 IFSS개최지로 선정되었습니다. 2010년 8월 8일부터 20일 까지, 국내 10여 곳의 아름답고 소중한 우리의 숲과 자연을 세계의 산림대학생들에게 소개하고, 함께 즐기는 행사가 될 것입니다.

IFSA-KOREA(잎사 한국지부)에서는 이러한 소중한 기회를 국내 산림대학생들과 공유하고자 IFSS홍보봉사단을 모집합니다. 홍보봉사단은 4월 발대식을 시작으로, 지역별 행사홍보 담당과 행사준비를 IFSS준비위원단과 함께하게 될 것입니다.

홍보봉사단으로 활동하시면 8월7일에서 8월20일까지 숙식, 활동비, 교통비, 특별강연이 포함되는 행사참가비(약 430불)이 면제되며 봉사확인증이 발급됩니다.

홍보봉사단에 지원을 희망하는 사람은 아래의 홍보봉사단 참가신청서를 다운받아 ifss2010korea@gmail.com으로 3월20일 까지 메일바랍니다. 최종 선발은 3월 25일에 개별 연락 드리겠습니다.

본 행사는 한국임학회의 주관으로 산림청, IUFRO, 숲체원, 서울대학교에서 후원합니다.
